2019 Windsurfing Lessons Schedule

The Shell Point Sailboard Club offers ONE free beginner windsurfing lessons during the summer at the east end of Shell Point Beach off of Beaty Taff Drive in Crawfordville, Florida. Sailing equipment is provided free of charge. Please register (using the signup link below) early as the class capacity is twelve students and classes do fill up quickly. (If you are from the Pensacola area, check out Outdoor Gulf Coast for lessons)

The schedule for 2019 is OUT!;! (See SPSC Events for a listing of all local events.) Lessons are on Saturday starting at 11:00am and lasting until 3:00pm. We will be giving lessons on the following dates: ALL CLASSES are filled for the rest of the year. See you next year.

Students should be a competent swimmers AND are encouraged to wear a personal flotation device ("life vest") which can be provided by SPSC. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by adults and MUST wear a life jacket. Students should not have a fear of floating in deep water. You WILL fall in the water.

Please bring the following items with you:

  • shoes (beachwalkers, NO FLIP FLOPS)
  • sunscreen
  • water
  • and lunch if you so desire.
