Christmas Party Thank You

The 2006 Christmas Party….How lucky was I? Incredibly lucky that’s how. After one crazy December, literally working 24/7 for two thirds of it, I want to take a moment to thank those who made the Christmas party possible for all of us to enjoy.

Those great Christmas invitations were products of Deb B.’s creative brains and Adobe skills. The brilliant decorations for the party at 621 were brought and created by Ann G. and Leah C. Thank You ladies I loved the bar lights. Speaking of the bar…I want to thank Lizzie and Dave D. for setting up the bar tenders and bringing the ice and bar need. Deb delivered the beverage supplies and our lovely bar maids kept everything in order. We all love Susan and Sharon…they are so much fun to have at a party.

This year seemed much colder than last year and I among many of us hung around those grand propane heaters. Thanks go to Lee C. and Dave D. keeping them running and me warm. Besides drinking and hanging by the heater we kept warm by dancing. As always, “Boom Box” Bob G. knows how to keep us and a party hopping. Thank you for bringing, setting up and working the whole party.

Finally, I want to thank everyone who came to the party, brought yummy goodies, added to the bar and contributed in their own special way. Thanks goes to Perry M. and his infamous “Martini Bar” and Wright F. for presenting the club awards and planning the beach after party. I especially want to thank everyone who stayed and cleaned up; Dave, Lizzie, Janice, Wright, Rick, Judy, Adam and all those who I forgot to mention but helped.

I honestly could not have done any of this with out these folks help. It is times like this when the strength club is shown through the active members; just plain great people.
