SPSC WebSite Update

After three weeks of problems, Pam and I are happy to say that the 20KnotSnob website is up and running once again. In a nutshell, the company that was hosting the website went belly up, and another company took over the business. The new company was attempting to migrate everything to newer systems; during this time, the 20KnotSnob site was available intermittently, and none of the club's databases were accessible. We waited, hoping they would eventually learn how to do what they were trying to do, but they didn't. Fortunately, we had month-old backups, and Pam had the site restored 3 days after we made the decision to abandon our befuddled host. The new host is ASP WebHosting, and aside from lightning fast retrievals and constant availability, users should not notice much difference.

You may have noticed a "Local's Only" menu bar on the right side of the page. If you have ever been a member of SPSC, you will have a member's profile that contains your mailing address, phone number, and importantly your email address. With a password you can maintain this information, and that way be sure that the club newsletter and other important club news reaches you. Additionally, you can also access the club directory and maintain your classified ads. If you need a Local's Only password, or have forgotten yours, email the webmaster at 20 knotsnob.com.
