Who's Big Foot?
By J&J Staff - Photos by Mark Wallheiser
Thanks to the windy spring we've been enjoying, several of our members have actually been observed on the water. Professional photog Mark Wallheiser recently spent his afternoon documenting the rare event. So, have you guessed whose foot it was? Here are some clues...

No, it wasn't the foot of SPSC club member Perry Morris. Perry has logged more time on the water this spring than usual, thanks to the steady seabreezes, and his new cush job with the state.

Nor was it the foot of Danielle Dupree (no relation to your Cousin Dupree). Danielle sailed for several hours on this day, while others watched on (or over?) the hill.
It was also decidedly not the foot of Ron Jamis. To begin with, Ron never falls, and secondly, Ron's feet are much, much prettier. So to whom could this foot possibly belong? Scroll down a little for the answer.

Yep, you probably guessed it, the waterlogged foot you see belongs to none other than Richard Hill. Though it isn't super-obvious from the photo, Richard has been in fact sailing for 14 years, and his foot has been similarly observed at some of the world's windiest places, including Barbados, Dominican Republic, Cape Hatteras, and Maui's Kanaha Beach Park. Photographer Mark Wallheiser digitally captures the predicament of the human situation vis-a-vis watersports; to wit, that the mouth and nose are inexplicably situated on the other end of the body.
