Little Talbot Action!

Jan 22, 2020 by alexb

Happy Windy New Year!
Lets start the year off with 20+ knot windy clips from this past Friday at Little Talbot Island. I feel like I went a little crazy with the 360 transitions but it's my first try and I needed to prove to Fast Foil Freddy that the waves weren't "chest" high. :D

The fact that you can tell they're waves on the GoPro should tell you they're BIG. ;) The rollers on the outside were spaced out and overhead but they weren't steep enough to break. I couldn't really play on them once going. Gained too much speed and couldn't cut back because of the kite pull.

Very nice production. But it is still hard to tell just how large the waves are. The 360 cam seems to flatten them even more than the older version. It is interesting how much open water there was between waves, as sometimes that area gets prretty churned up in a NEter.
