Sat Feb 24 North wind tomorrow

Hey All; Are there any open water sites i.e. Waves to sail during a north wind that looks really good tomorrow am I've sailed A harbor but would prefer bigger chop-waves????? Thanks for any advice

Yes, the there is also the rentalscam, but we have found based on numerous trips over that the flbeaches cam when displaying the series of pics successively gives more accurate info, esp as to the wind which you can see affecting the palm tree in the foreground (aka the "palm tree wind indicator"). There are several places to sail along the Cape, including several small parks before you get to the state park, where we also sail a good bit.

Good question. The only place we have found in 20 years of looking is Cape San Blas (about 2.2 hr drive), where it should be sideshore from the North. However, it may be NNE tomorrow, which might be a bit sideoff, which is ok too. You can see the waves live at flbeaches.net The only other option is Alligator Harbor, which is B&J and gusty. Also, with the new condos near the marina, launch is hard to find as the old beach is gone.
