Great resource (especially for beginners)

http://sites.google.com/site/learnersguidetowindsurfing/ Pay special attention to the "Instruction" area listed on the left. Great for beginners, but lots of good stuff for more advanced sailors as well.

i used to windsurf years ago and now thinking about geting back into it. my last board was a Mistral one design. i have been looking, but there are sooo many choices. i really like the look of the short wide formula boards, but not sure if that is good for me and this area. i was wondering if anyone could tell me what the most typical style board being used in this area for course racing. i am in Panama City and would like a board that will work in just about all conditions but geared more towards racing.
